Kevin is a proud, second-generation thirty-five year member of Steamfitters Local 420 in Philadelphia, PA. Since completing his five year apprenticeship in 1991, he has honorably served his membership in the offices of Examining Board, Executive Board, Vice President, President, and for the last fifteen years, as Financial Secretary-Treasurer. In his role as FST, he is responsible for the daily operational oversight of a $13M budget. Kevin brings twenty years’ of experience as a Trustee to the various Local 420 fringe benefit plans, including the Health & Welfare, Pension, Scholarship, Vacation, Supplemental Retirement, and Joint Apprentice Training Funds. Kevin has continually strived to protect the health of the benefit funds to ensure long-term viability for all members and their families.
Kevin was elected and has proudly represented Steamfitters Local 420 as a United Association (UA) Delegate to the 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016 and 2021 United Association Conventions. He was appointed by then UA General President Bill Hite to Co-Chair the 2016 Committee on Convention Expenses, and was appointed by UA General President Mark McManus to Co-Chair the 2021 Committee on Convention Expenses.
Kevin is a father of three, and currently resides in Woolwich, NJ with his wife Michelle, his daughter Brianna, and his two Shih Tzu’s Bentley and Bella. He is an avid University of Notre Dame football fan, second only to his love of the Philadelphia Eagles (Go Birds).
